Welcome to the Shilo Farmstand!

The Shilo Farmstand & Apothecary was born from a desire to share the plethora of herbs and flowers that we have been cultivating for the past twelve years with the community. Last year we build a commercial sized drying room so we could ensure the quality of the herbs through eliminating any moisture, dust and maintaining the true vibrancy of the plants in color and medicinal value.

We built the timber framed farmstand, with help from Traditional Boat Works and our dear friend John Cole, from locally milled lumbar and a lot of love. It is a sweet 10 x 12’ space, but don’t let its small size fool you. We carry over 50 unique items from our homegrown bulk herbs for teas, infusions, or the base ingredients for salves and tinctures, as well as a line of our own products from Comfrey Heal-All salve, to Elderberry tincture, Fire Cider, and a variety of other hyper-seasonal offerings. We bake a fresh batch of granola (made with Maine Grain Oats & Porcupine Hill Syrup) weekly and offer homemade triple strained ghee as well. We have loved working with other local growers and crafters in Maine and the Seacoast area of NH.

    We have an Honor System Set up and accept VENMO or Cash.

    Or come by on Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday from 9-2 and we will have a fire crackling and Hot Chai offerings.
