Amylyn and Jonas, were by far the best hosts I have met till date. They were very welcoming. I am in love with their Shilo farm. It’s an ecosystem which never fails to rejuvenate you. We lived in the Skylight Suite which is just above the common kitchen and the green living room area. So it was so convenient to come down for a cup of tea, or to play some board games or to just sit in the living room area which has a nice, gentle yogi music going on throughout the day. We were lucky to attend an essential oil/restorative yoga session which we did the evening we got there, perfect way to refresh yourself after the drive. The farm is so pretty with different animals like goats, chickens, whose eggs by the way you can eat for breakfast. The farm location is so perfect, 10 mins drive from Portsmouth downtown, Kittery and York. I and my fiancé being cat/dog lovers were so lucky to spend time with Shasta (their dog) and their two cats, Bean and Barney. They are so cute and adorable. I miss them already. Amy and Jonas gave us a lot of recommendation about nearby places and food, and I’m glad we were able to make good use of them. I felt like, every bit of the place has been built with a thought behind it. Specially the living room, with so many personal touches. If you want to run away from the city for a weekend, don’t hesitate to come down here. We will be visiting again for sure. -UJALA
I really can't say enough about this very special, sacred space. This was our second visit to Shilo Farm and it will certainly not be our last. Every inch of Shilo Farm has something beautiful and special to experience. We have been there in the green bounty of summer as well as the white stark winter and both were lovely. Amylyn and Jonas are very gracious hosts who believe strongly in the Farm's mission and seem to work tirelessly to cultivate the space. -KARIN
